Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada – Raymond William Stacy Burr was a Emmy Award-winning Canadian-American actor primarily known for his title roles in the television dramas Perry Mason and Ironside. CDF aficionados will remember Mr. Burr for his role as American reporter Steve Martin in the 1956 film GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS!, a role which he reprised in the 1984 film GODZILLA 1985!
