Happy Birthday to CDF alumnus Ray Milland!

January 3, 1907 – March 10, 1986

Born Alfred Reginald Jones in Glamorgan, Wales; Mr. Milland enjoyed a long film career that stretched from 1929 to 1985. He may be best remembered for his Academy Award-winning portrayal of an alcoholic writer in The Lost Weekend (1945), or as the murder-plotting husband in Dial M for Murder which was directed by Alfred Hitchcock (1954) but it is his starring role as Dr. Xavier in the 1963 film directed by Roger Corman – X: THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES, and as Harry Flexner in 1973’s TERROR IN THE WAX MUSEUM, that secures his status among the esteemed CDF Alumni.
