Happy Birthday to CDF alumnus Philip St. John Basil Rathbone!

June 13, 1892 – July 21, 1967

Mr. Rathbone is perhaps best known for his most famous role, his heroic portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in 14 Hollywood films; but it is his trio of notable roles in the CDF classic films – SON OF FRANKENSTEIN (1939), THE BLACK CAT (1941), and PLANET OF BLOOD (1966) a.k.a. Queen of Blood, that rightly secures his status among the esteemed CDF Alumni.
