Born Samuel Horowitz in Brooklyn, New York; Shemp Howard was an American actor and comedian best known as a part of the Three Stooges comedy team. He appeared in over 70 short films and 2 feature films as the third Stooge of the Three Stooges between 1923–1932 and 1946–1955. During the years of 1933–1945 Mr. Howard enjoyed a successful solo career as a film comedian who appeared in dozens of films including the 1940 science fiction comedy film THE INVISIBLE WOMAN!
