Beloved “Uncle Dale” Dorman was an American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame radio disc jockey with a career that included nearly 40 years on Boston radio stations –WRKO (1968-78), WXKS-FM (1978-2003), and WODS (2003-2008). For many of us that grew up in the 1970s and 80s, “Uncle Dale” was the playful and humorous voice of WLVI-TV56’s children’s television programming and occasional introductions to our Saturday afternoon Creature Double Feature!
