Happy Birthday to CDF alumnus Henry Hull!

October 3, 1890 – March 8, 1977

Born Henry Waterson Hull in Louisville, Kentucky; Henry Hull was an American character actor best remembered for his role as British botanist Dr. Wilfred Glendon in Universal Pictures’s WEREWOLF OF LONDON (1935). Mr. Hull appeared in nearly 75 films, including Jesse James (1939), Alfred Hitchcock’s Lifeboat (1944), Great Expectations (1934), and Miracles for Sale (1939). His essential contributions to the CDF filmography include the aforementioned WEREWOLF OF LONDON (1935) as well as the 1961 science fiction film MASTER OF THE WORLD!
