Born in Cleveland, Ohio; Virginia Leith was an American film and television actress. Ms. Leith enjoyed leading roles in films such as Violent Saturday (1955), Toward the Unknown (1956), On the Threshold of Space (1956), and A Kiss Before Dying (1956) – but it is her starring role as Jan Compton, a decapitated woman whose head is kept alive, in the 1962 CDF classic horror sci-fi – THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN’T DIE!
