Happy Birthday to American comedian, actor and producer Lou Costello!

March 6, 1906 – March 3, 1959

Born Louis Francis Cristillo in Paterson, New Jersey, U.S. – Mr. Costello is best remembered as the dimwitted comic of one of the greatest comedy duos of all time – Abbott and Costello. Mr. Costello’s acting resumé boasts nearly 50 credits – including the comedy classics Buck Privates (1941), In The Navy (1941), The Naughty Nineties (1945), and the CDF fan-favorite films ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN (1948), BUD ABBOTT AND LOU COSTELLO MEET THE INVISIBLE MAN (1951), and ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET THE MUMMY (1955)!
