Haruo Nakajima is the Japanese actor eternally remembered for portraying Godzilla in an astounding twelve consecutive films, starting from the original GODZILLA (1954) until GODZILLA VS. GIGAN (1972); as well as performing various other giant monsters in kaiju films, including MOTHRA (1961) and THE WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS (1966).
